More conductive copper could increase motor efficiency

Researchers at Pacific Northwest National Laboratory (PNNL) claim to have increased the conductivity of copper wire by about five percent. Automotive cable firm Delfingen expands its reach with acquisition

Automotive cable specialist Delfingen plans to acquire the European and African operations of Schlemmer, a German industrial group that specializes in cable protection and injection-molded parts for the automotive industry. Schlemmer entered preliminary bankruptcy proceedings last December. Champlain launches high-voltage battery cable for EV market

Wire and cable company Champlain has launched a new high-voltage battery cable called the EXRAD ERGO FLEX-2. The cable features a Class D 150° C temperature rating, and 600 V or 1,000 V capability.
