bp pulse expands its EV charging network in Texas, Virginia and Louisiana

Even the oil giants (European-oriented ones at least) are getting into EV charging these days. bp pulse continues to expand its US network of public DC fast chargers.

The company recently opened its first site in Louisiana, as well as two additional sites in Virginia and Texas.

Each of the three new sites has 12 charging bays with CCS and NACS connectors and charging speeds up to 400 kW. Each is located at a Travel Centers of America (TA) station, which offers a travel store, rest rooms, ATM, pet area and restaurants.

The new Louisiana charging site is at exit 266 on I-10 near Slidell, convenient for travelers heading to and from New Orleans. It features pull-through and ADA charging stalls.

Further west along I-10, EV drivers will find another new site near East San Antonio, Texas—the city that’s named in so many popular songs.

Travelers heading up the Eastern Seaboard can stop at bp pulse’s new EV charging site at exit 89 on I-95 near North Richmond, Virginia.
