Lider Electric NEMA 14-50 receptacles earn UL certification with Electric Vehicle Marking

Lider Electric, a provider of premium electrical products for residential and commercial buildings, has announced that its LN-1450RH and LN-1450RHW NEMA 14-50 receptacles have received UL certification with Electric Vehicle Marking.

Many consumers don’t realize (but professional EVSE installers do) that the cheap electrical receptacles sold at big-box stores aren’t really suitable for EV charging, which requires sustained current flow over long charging sessions. Lider’s LN-1450RH and LN-1450RHW are designed for EV charging applications that require connection reliability and long-term charging stability.

UL certification assures buyers that products meet the highest reliability and safety standards, and the organization’s Electric Vehicle Marking indicates products that meet the higher demands of EV charging.

Lider’s LN-1450 receptacles provide:

  • Reliable power at the connection point
  • Heavy-duty NEMA 14-50 design for EV charging applications
  • Secure connection performance under sustained electrical load
  • High-temperature-resistant contacts designed to support long-term charging reliability

The Lider Electric LN-1450RH and LN-1450RHW NEMA 14-50 receptacles are now available for purchase on the company’s web site.
