InCharge Energy launches turnkey EV charging service for auto dealers

Fleet electrification service provider InCharge Energy has launched a turnkey EV charging service for auto and truck dealerships, and claims to have already signed up more than 500 dealers in North America.

InCharge’s new service is designed to provide EV charging solutions for dealers so they can focus on selling and servicing vehicles. InCharge has “decades of experience working with truck and auto dealers.” The company has partnered with dealers for global brands including GM, Navistar and Nissan.

InCharge’s Dealership Service works with dealers to design a charging system suited to their specific needs, and handles all the steps involved in getting it set up: permitting, networking, installation, and application for any applicable government incentives.

“Dealer services is one of the tentpoles of our commercial fleet business,” said Terry O’Day, COO of InCharge Energy. “Through the first dealership projects we executed, we have built a large, nationwide field team trained specifically to serve dealers quickly. That team now stands ready to also support our other fleet managers and manufacturers.”
