XING Mobility and Castrol have announced a partnership to further develop XING Mobility’s immersion cooling battery technology with Castrol’s thermal management fluid. 

XING’s Immersio Modular Battery Pack technology directly submerges lithium-ion battery cells in non-conductive cooling fluid. Castrol’s recently launched product, Castrol ON e-thermal fluid, is circulated through XING Mobility’s system at a dynamic flow rate to improve battery thermal management.

XING CEO Royce YC Hong said, “Forming a strong partnership with Castrol/BP not only brings world-leading fluid expertise to XING Mobility that greatly advances our development immersion cooling, it also enables us to provide ultra-fast charging EV battery systems to the world’s leading automakers.”
