Prodrive launches 48 V to 12 V DC-DC converter

UK-based motorsport technology company Prodrive has developed a 48 V to 12 V DC-DC converter in compliance with the latest ISO21780 standard for 48 V automotive systems. The converter is configurable for CAN and FlexRay automotive networks, is available in power options from 400 W to 2.2 kW, and can be modified to include added digital inputs and outputs.

Prodrive’s Chief Electrical Systems Engineer Matt Prosser said, “Our converter has been specifically designed from the outset to comply to the latest ISO21780 standard, offering businesses who are developing 48 V systems a ready-to-go platform that can be used to accelerate their development without the worry of non-compliant components, allowing them to bring their system to market more rapidly.”
