Tritium’s 350 kW DC charger introduced in Australia

EV charging equipment manufacturer Tritium has introduced its Veefil-PK 350 kW DC charger to Australia. Two Veefil-PK chargers are installed at the Toombul Shopping Center in Brisbane, operated by charging network provider Chargefox.

The Veefil-PK can charge two EVs simultaneously and is equipped with CCS2 plug types. According to Tritium, the charger can add up to 400 km of range in 15 minutes. The Veefil-PK will be available across Chargefox’s Australian network, which will include 22 public charging sites consisting of 350 kW and 50 kW DC chargers.

“The deployment of the Veefil-PK brings Australia in line with other regions across the globe such as Europe where these chargers are being rolled out by the hundreds across the continent,” said Tritium’s Chris Hewitt. “This is the next step towards Australia eliminating range anxiety and enabling true range and energy freedom.”
