Network operator EVgo and retail real estate firm the Simon Property Group have announced the opening of EVgo’s 900th fast charger in the US, at Opry Mills in Nashville.

The new station includes two 480 V fast chargers manufactured by BTC Power. Each can deliver a 50 kilowatt charge at the same time.

EVgo owns and operates all of its charging stations, many of which offer dual chargers that support both CHAdeMO and CCS standards. It offers several payment solutions, including pay-as-you-go, flexible membership plans, and unlimited charging plans for customers of partner OEMs, including BMW, Nissan and Ford.

“Our commitment to building a great experience for EV drivers is on full display at Opry Mills,” said Terry O’Day, Vice President, Product Strategy and Market Development at EVgo. “EVgo’s 900th fast charger location offers exceptional retail shopping and dining to give drivers options while they utilize the fastest public chargers on the market.”

“As Simon’s network of charging stations expands in the US, it continues to illustrate our commitment to delivering a more sustainable shopping experience that is also convenient for our guests,” said Mona Benisi, Senior Director of Sustainability at Simon.
