Citroën electrifies its line of commercial vans

Citroën will launch electric versions of its Jumpy, Jumper, and New Berlingo van models. The electric Jumpy and Jumper are scheduled for release in 2020, while the electric New Berlingo is scheduled for release in 2021.

The electric Jumpy will be available with a 50 kWh or 75 kWh battery, offering 200 km or 300 km of range respectively. The payload will remain similar to that of the combustion engine version.

Citroën Product and Strategy Director Laurence Hansen said, “Citroën today is launching a major product offensive on the electrification of its light commercial vehicle range. The objective is to market an electrified version of each of its compact vans by 2021.”
