Coda’s official 88-mile range beats every other EV on the market, save the smaller and much pricier Tesla Roadster, which claims a range of 245 miles.

Energy 101: Electric Vehicles is the latest in a series of videos on energy-related topics from the US Department of Energy.
The original model, which has a range of up to 150 miles, has a MSRP of $39,900. The new 31-kWh battery option has a range of up to 125 miles and a MSRP of $37,250.
