Pando Electric launches integrated EV charging for multifamily properties

California-headquartered EV charging company Pando Electric has introduced an EV charging system designed for multifamily properties that uses existing NEMA 14-50 electrical sockets to minimize upfront setup costs.

The system integrates compact Level 2 charging hardware with adaptive load-management software, which is designed to prevent capacity overload, enable smart metering and automatically scale back charging during peak electricity demand.

“Installing EV chargers in apartment and condominium buildings presents a range of challenges, including infrastructure, installation costs, power capacity, space constraints and changing resident demand,” said Aaron Li, Pando Electric founder and CEO. “With our adaptive load management software, multiple Pando Electric sockets can share power from a single electrical panel.”
