CaCharge, a Swedish provider of smart charging solutions that was founded in 2015, is expanding its reach in Europe. The company expanded into Norway in 2019, and is now selling its charging solution in the Benelux countries through its partner Odyssey Impact Investments.
CaCharge’s EV charging solution is designed to make large-scale charging possible and profitable. It includes load management to even out power peaks, as well as user management and payment solutions that accommodate multiple contracts for the same parking space.
The company provides an all-in-one solution, complete with charging station, services and operation, optimized so that users with multiple charging sites, such as real estate companies, housing cooperatives and municipalities can offer multiple charging sites without adding to the administrative burden.
“If the electric car boom is to become a reality, it must be possible to charge a lot of cars at an economical cost,” says CaCharge’s CEO Kurt Högnelid. “CaCharge is the only charging solution where every single component is optimized for profitable, large-scale EV charging.”
“We need more affordable EV charging infrastructure, and we need to enable people to charge their cars while stationary at work and home, which is not possible without an accompanying load balancing solution for multiple parking bays,” says Marina Mouravieva, a Partner at Odyssey Impact Investments.
