DS24 to provide upfit solutions for ZM Trucks’ 600 V dual ePTO and 24 V chassis infrastructure

ZM Trucks, which at the start of the year announced the construction of its first North American manufacturing plant and regional headquarters, both in Fontana, California, announced a new collaboration with DS24, a manufacturer of medium- and heavy-duty freight, refrigerated and specialty truck bodies.

The partnership will allow ZM to provide highly tailored solutions combining the company’s standard 600 V dual Electric Power Takeoff and 24 V chassis infrastructure with DS24’s upfit solutions for dry freight, refrigerated, platform, dump and specialty bodies, including mobile kitchens.

“By collaborating with DS24, we aim to bring our trucks to customers who seek a high-quality, custom upfit solution tailored to their individual needs, regardless of how complex they may be,” said the truckmaker’s CEO, Joost de Vries.
