The TMG EV P002 has a predicted top speed of 149 mph, with 350 kW of power from its two EVO axial flux motors.

Toyota Motorsport became the latest team to field an entry in the EV division of the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, which takes place July 8. Japanese rally champion Fumio Nutahara will drive the new TMG EV P002.

The P002 has a predicted top speed of 149 mph, with 350 kW of power from its two EVO axial flux motors. TMG’s electric powertrain delivers 900 N·m (664 lb-ft) of torque. The 42-kWh lithium ceramic battery incorporates Evonik’s Separion ceramic separator and Litarion electrodes.
