EVE Energy unveils electric construction machinery platforms

China-based EVE Energy has introduced platforms for electric construction machinery, including its new Open Source Battery.

EVE’s platforms focus on four key areas: construction machinery, heavy-duty trucks, aerial work platforms and special machinery. They are designed to reduce charging time by 25%, exceed a lifespan of 5,000 cycles and achieve structural strength three times that of the old national standard, according to the company.

For construction vehicles, EVE Energy launched the B3P Platform, which uses Top-Bottom Liquid Cooling Technology to ensure full-temperature range operation while maintaining high strength and long lifespan. The integrated system can accommodate power demands ranging from 114 kWh to 700 kWh for conventional loaders and mining trucks.

For heavy-duty trucks and mining trucks, EVE has introduced the H3E Platform, which uses Cell-to-Pack (CTP) module-free and full-field foaming technology to increase system packaging efficiency and enhance structural reliability. The batteries can be mounted at the back or side.

For aerial work, EVE offers its ES series platform, featuring an integrated battery disconnect unit (BDU) which minimizes design costs while enhancing system reliability and space utilization. These products cater to the full series of scissor lift platforms ranging from 6 to 14 meters.
