California-based EV maker Mullen has introduced its Commercial Pulse telematics system, which is designed to provide advanced vehicle diagnostics and fleet optimization for commercial fleets. It is available by subscription as two mobile applications, Mullen Commercial Pulse Fleet and Mullen Commercial Pulse Driver, on both iOS and Android platforms.

The apps are available for the Mullen ONE Class 1 Cargo Van and the Mullen THREE Class 3 Low Cab Forward. They give drivers and fleet companies management information concerning maintenance alerts, vehicle location, driver safety, battery state-of-charge and metrics.

The dashboard offers asset and trip management, vehicle and driver performance, geofencing and reporting. Other features include routing assistance, charging station locator and roadside assistance.

“As we have seen in our early customer pilots and engineering fleet, and by continuously monitoring vehicle performance, our system can detect potential maintenance issues before breakdowns,” said Mullen CCO John Schwegman.
