EVBox begins North American production of its charging stations

Amsterdam-based EVSE manufacturer EVBox has started production of its EVBox Troniq Modular charging station in Libertyville, Illinois. Customer deliveries are expected to commence before the end of the year.

The  EVBox Troniq Modular’s power module output is upgradable from 90 kW to 240 kW in increments of 30 kW. It is designed to scale as demand for EV chargers expands. The unit is Build America, Buy America compliant. It accommodates multiple vehicles simultaneously and can connect to any OCPP-compliant backend.

“EVBox is dedicated to maintaining a local supply chain compliant with the applicable ‘Buy America’ requirements—therefore the company will be closer to its partners and customers through US production and testing,” the company said.
