Forsee Power unveils modular battery for lightweight industrial and construction equipment

French manufacturer Forsee Power, a supplier of battery systems for commercial and industrial electric vehicles, has introduced a new battery designed for compact agricultural, industrial and construction equipment, as well as lightweight electric four-wheel vehicles.

The GO 6 lithium iron phosphate (LFP) battery pack offers energy density exceeding 200 Wh/L, and weighs 45 kg. The battery has a power output of 10 kW per pack, equivalent to more than 200 A DC. Its lifespan exceeds 4,000 cycles.

Allowing parallel connections at 48 V without the need for external housing, the GO 6 can be configured to provide scalable energy capacities from 6 kWh to 48 kWh. The modular design allows for installation either flat or on its side, offering multiple integration possibilities in confined spaces.

The GO 6’s battery management system features a pre-charge function and self-power supply for integration without requiring an auxiliary battery. The battery also benefits from advanced algorithms for calculating battery state-of-health and dynamic state-of-charge, allowing precise and efficient performance monitoring. It includes a cell-powered heating system to optimize operation in low-temperature conditions.

The GO 6 is certified UN 38.3, R136 and R10.6 and is designed in accordance with ISO 20653 standards.
