Virtual Peaker adds utility integration to FLO’s charging stations

Virtual Peaker, a cloud-based energy management platform, has teamed up with smart charging provider FLO, a subsidiary of AddEnergie, to integrate utility demand response programs with FLO’s Home X5 residential Level 2 charging stations.

Virtual Peaker can connect to any in-home smart device to allow utilities to run residential demand response programs.

“Electrification is on the minds of forward-thinking utilities,” said William (Bill) Burke, Virtual Peaker founder and CEO. “With FLO as a device partner, our clients have a great option to offer their customers who are looking for residential EV charging solutions.”

“As we increase our work with leading utilities, municipalities, rural electric coops, and businesses across the United States, we are proud to be able to offer Virtual Peaker’s customers the choice to add our popular smart-home charging station,” said Global Head, Utilities Frank Fata at FLO | AddEnergie.
