EVSE manufacturer Splitvolt has unveiled its next-generation Splitter Switch. The newest iteration of the Splitter Switch features a more stylized look, new components and cETLus safety certification.

Splitvolt says its Splitter Switch is designed to make home EV charging simple, affordable and safe by automatically sharing an existing 30 A dryer circuit instead of requiring a new Level 2 circuit to charge an EV at home. It features seamless power switching between the dryer and EV and includes several critical and unique safety features, including an internal safety circuit breaker and a manual override power-off switch.

“One of the barriers to EV adoption has been convenient and affordable home charging.
