Karma releases specs for its Revero PHEV

karma-automotive

Karma Automotive, the successor to the ill-fated Fisker, has officially launched the Revero, a plug-in hybrid based on the earlier Fisker Karma.

The Revero has a 21.4 kWh LiFePO battery pack mounted in the center of the vehicle. Electric range is an estimated 50 miles, 0-60 time is 5.4 seconds, and top speed is a software-limited 125 mph.

The Revero features a first for a PHEV – DC fast charging, at levels up to 40 kW, which Karma says will be able to charge the battery to 80% in 24 minutes.

Production is to begin by the end of this year, and the company plans to build about 900 units in the first year.

Pricing starts at $130,000.
