Swiss charging station manufacturer Juice Technology has won a contract to supply its JUICE BOOSTER 2 charging solution to BMW Group production lines and the majority of BMW dealerships in Germany.

As automakers electrify, they need to upgrade and retrofit their production and servicing facilities to accommodate EVs, and creating a suitable charging infrastructure is part of the challenge.

JUICE BOOSTER 2 is a portable charging station that features a comprehensive adapter system and extension capabilities. Production lines and workflows don’t need to be redesigned, says Juice Technology, as EVs can be charged in place at any time during production or servicing, no matter where the vehicle happens to be.

The BMW Group is now using a custom edition of JUICE BOOSTER 2 on its German production lines and in dealers’ workshops, alongside the JUICE BOOSTER 2 Pro version.
