ClipperCreek announces plug-in version of its 30-amp charger

ClipperCreek has announced that its HCS-40P with factory-installed NEMA 14-50P or 6-50P wall plugs is available for immediate delivery. The HCS is designed to be easily installed anywhere there is a 240 V wall plug. After a junction box with a 240 V receptacle is run from the main service, installing the HCS requires just two wall screws -no assembly is needed.

“Utilizing a plug-in residential charge station can significantly reduce the cost of installation and ownership for our customers,” said Jason France, CEO of ClipperCreek. “Customers asked for a plug-in version of our hard-wired 30-amp stations, so the ClipperCreek team responded in record time.”

ClipperCreek’s HCS-40 product line is designed to be not only inexpensive, but “American tough,” with a fully sealed NEMA 4 enclosure. The HCS-40P features 25 feet of charging cable, a 30-amp charge rate, a 3-year warranty, and an optional ($19) connector holster.

“We have the most extensive product line on the market “With the addition of the plug in version of the HCS-40P, we now offer over 20 models to choose from,” said Will Barrett, ClipperCreek’s inside sales manager.
