Irish EV charging provider Brite EV Charging, will use charging management software from GreenFlux to maximize the efficiency of its infrastructure through “intelligent, data-driven management,” beginning with the company’s flagship EV charging sites in Galway.
The Brite Ultra Hub flagship location, located at Sandy Road, features six 300 kW DC chargers, four 240 kW DC chargers and eight 22 kW AC chargers. The hub has a total installed capacity of one MVA, and can charge up to 18 vehicles simultaneously. The site features active security and offers simplified corporate invoicing.
Brite also operates a four-bay DC fast charging site at Galway Retail Park, a busy commercial hub. This charging site serves shoppers, commuters and logistics users.
Brite’s charging sites are enabled by GreenFlux’s charge point management system (CPMS). GreenFlux’s Charge Assist driver app enables drivers to check live charger availability, start and stop sessions remotely, pay securely, and plan efficient routes across Galway and beyond.
“Our collaboration with GreenFlux allows Brite to deliver the most intelligent and dependable charging network in Ireland,” said Colin Barry, Managing Director, Brite EV Charging. “By combining local ownership and engineering capability with proven European technology, we’re ensuring that EV drivers, businesses, and fleets have access to reliable, future-ready infrastructure where it’s needed most.”
“To enable Ireland’s e-mobility growth ambition, its infrastructure must keep pace to offer the best charging experience for EV drivers,” said Suthalan Gnanes, Managing Director, GreenFlux. “We support Brite’s rollout with GreenFlux’s software and managed roaming services, enabling a seamless experience for drivers and operators alike.”
