Circontrol’s new WallBox eNext range of chargers

Barcelona-based Circontrol has expanded its WallBox range of chargers with eNext, a new series that features an elegant design and a simplified charging process. The new charger is designed for homes, condominiums, workplaces and car parks.

As e-mobility spreads, EV chargers will be ever more present in our environment, says Circontrol, so the external appearance of a charger is becoming more important. The eNext WallBox range features curved lines and a combination of black piano and white matte colors.

The eNext series has also been designed to simplify the charging process as much as possible. The Presence Recognition features allows hands-free user authentication using Bluetooth. Charging starts when an approved user’s smartphone is detected and the cable is connected to the car. The eNext chargers come with an app that allows users to activate charging remotely and program charging sessions to take advantages of special electric rates.

The eNext range will include three different models. The basic model is available now. Over the coming months, Circontrol will launch the eNextPro and eNext Elite models, which are designed for fleets, car parks and residential communities.

eNext Pro can be configured as a slave in multipoint facilities. An RFID reader and a MID meter facilitate user management.

eNext Elite, the most advanced model in the range, features OCPP 1.6 and WiFi, as well as an Ethernet connector for multipoint and master-slave setups.
