EV charging infrastructure provider GreenFlux and energy solutions provider Unica have been granted a large contract by the Dutch government to build, manage, and maintain EV charging infrastructure at more than 100 government offices across the Netherlands.

The two companies will construct a total of 1,000 charging stations, intended to serve government vehicles and private cars of employees and visitors. The Dutch government is aiming to enable 20 percent of its official fleet (over 31,000 vehicles) to operate fully electrically by 2020. To that end, GreenFlux and Unica will deliver 600 charging stations by the end of this year.

The charging stations will be powered by GreenFlux’s cloud-based smart charging technology, which the company claims can result in up to four times faster ROI for the equipment installation. GreenFlux will also upgrade 150 existing charging stations with its Smart Charging Controller.

We can also apply the acquired knowledge of this project on an international scale.”
