BrightDrop reports production and customer-acquisition achievements

GM electric delivery system subsidiary BrightDrop has begun shipping the first 500 of its Zevo 600 EVs built at CAMI Assembly, GM’s Canadian EV manufacturing plant, which reopened three months ago for dedicated production of BrightDrop EVs.

BrightDrop reports that it has sold out its production of 2023 model year Zevo 600s to more than 30 commercial fleet customers. These include FedEx, Walmart, Hertz, DHL Express and Purolator, as well as such new customers as American Tire Distributors, WasteNot Compost and Rexel.

Rental giant Ryder has also announced plans to add 4,000 Zevos to its rental and lease fleet through 2025.
