Addison Lee, a London private-hire, courier and black taxi provider, plans to have a fully electric fleet by 2023. The company already has 450 Volkswagen ID.4s operating in London, and hopes to expand this fleet to 1,000 by the end of the year.

Now Addison Lee has announced that it will use bp pulse’s fleet charging network. Addison Lee drivers will now have access to bp pulse’s EV Fleet Charging Hubs on Park Lane and at Gatwick airport. The Park Lane hub has 22 50 kW charge points in a convenient location for private hire drivers. The Gatwick hub has six 150 kW charge points and eight 50 kW charge points, which are available to airport users and taxi drivers, as well as local businesses and residents.
