The ChargePoint Network handles authentication, payment and customer support, and allows charging station owners flexible control over access, pricing and reporting.

IES-Synergy is a hardware manufacturer and partners with distribution channels, like ChargePoint and Bosch, for installation and service. Friedemann Steinbach, IES North America Vice President, told us that he expects to have a “CHAdeMO version will be available later this year.”  The company is also working on global expansion with a Combo 2 version for the european market and a GB version for China.

With this announcement, IES-Synergy wants the market to know that it can now officially suply any customer with a ChargePoint connected DC fast charger.

“As the largest and most open network, we allow any charging station hardware to run on our network and benefit from our feature-rich software and support services,” said Pasquale Romano, ChargePoint CEO. “Our partnership with IES also benefits EV drivers by giving them access to even more DC Express charging spots across the country.”
