Charging network operator Allego has chosen Efacec to supply and install 90 ultra-fast chargers in Central Europe over the next two years. This contract is part of a larger project from an Allego-led consortium to create an ultra-fast charging network in Europe.
As part of the deal, Efacec will supply the HV350, a cooled-cable 350 kW fast charger that will provide charging speeds of up 30 km a minute – seven times faster than today’s 50 kW DC chargers.
Efacec CEO Ângelo Ramalho said, “This new agreement with Allego is an important milestone for Efacec. This is a key point to our development strategy, which points out Central and Northern Europe regions as strategic places in order to continue a growth path in the electric mobility market.”
