Zero 60 launches sustainable EV charging station in Lake Placid, New York

US EV charge point operator Zero 60 has opened its fourth renewable-energy-powered EV charging station, with four charging spaces, in Lake Placid, New York.

Zero 60 was founded by engineering, construction, manufacturing and clean energy company Faith Technologies. It operates two other sites in New York State and one in California. Plans call for the installation of approximately 50 more charging sites across the US, initially in New York, California, Colorado and Wisconsin, at such high-traffic locations as restaurants, hotels and retail stores. All stations will be powered by 100% renewable energy, either through renewable energy certificates or on-site generation.

“Our EV charging stations aim to provide reliable, secure and consistent EV charging services in safe, convenient and welcoming locations,” said FTI Executive VP Wade Leipold.
