How do Bo make dat dirty rice? We may never know the answer to that question, but now we know where Bo gone charge his EV.
Carolina-born Bojangles, which serves “craveable Southern food,” notably fried chicken and biscuits, boasts some 800 company-owned and franchised restaurants. Now the chain has announced plans to install EV charging stations at “a wide range of locations,” in partnership with Smart Big Box, Alyath EV and Energy and Environmental Design Services.
Some of the charging stations will have Level 2 chargers and some will have DC fast chargers. There will be a minimum of four charging spots per restaurant.
Smart Big Box has contracted with Energy and Environmental Design Services as the exclusive installer and maintenance partner for Bo’s chargers, which will be operated by Alyath.
“Our focus is on offering a fast, friendly and convenient experience for our guests, and working with Alyath and Smart Big Box allows us to introduce a new convenience that aligns with evolving customer needs,” said Richard Del Valle, Chief Information Officer at Bojangles. “These top-of-the-line EV chargers will not only improve accessibility for our guests but also help drive an eco-friendlier future.”
