Fleet charging management specialist Synop has been selected as the charging management solution for Bus2Grid’s Renew America’s Schools Grant. Under the project, 14 Illinois school districts will install campus microgrids with help from a $15-million grant from the DOE.
The microgrids will include onsite solar generation and battery storage. Synop’s intelligent charging management platform will help to optimize the charging schedule for electric school buses, ensuring efficient and reliable operations.
