Schneider Electric begins to sell Charge Pro charging solution in Europe

Schneider Electric, an energy management company, has announced the debut of the Schneider Charge Pro charging station in Europe.

France will be the first European market in which the charging solution will be sold.

The Charge Pro is an “energy-efficient electric vehicle charging solution designed to accelerate EV adoption among owners of commercial fleets and multifamily residences,” the company said.

The Schneider Charge Pro is part of a turnkey system designed for charge point operators and building owners that is easy to install or retrofit.

The tool offers remote monitoring through an easy-to-use, cloud-based mobile app. The product also minimizes power disruption to homes and apartments, allowing for high volumes of EV charging that will not affect the electricity supply or its distribution throughout buildings that are outfitted with the solution.

Schneider calls the new Charge Pro a “comprehensive, affordable e-mobility solution” that is in keeping with the EU’s Energy Performance of Buildings Directive. The directive requires certain upgrades to EV charging facilities by 2027.

“Schneider Charge Pro builds on our century-long heritage of energy management innovation, offering an open, affordable and efficient EV charging solution designed to empower businesses to electrify their fleets with ease,” said Nadège Petit, Schneider Electric’s Chief Innovation Officer. “By simplifying EV adoption for fleet operators, building owners, electricians and multifamily housing, we’re enabling compliance with EU regulations while helping businesses accelerate their electrification goals and drive the transition to sustainable energy.”
