Charger manufacturer EVBox has introduced a new residential charging station. The EVBox Livo features intelligent charging features designed to optimize charging times and take advantage of potential savings.
The EVBox Livo is available in several variants, with power output of 7.4 kW, 11 kW or 22 kW; and with fixed-cable, socket and socket-with-shutter options.
The new Livo is compatible with the EVBox Dynamic Load Balancing (DLB) kit, and supports over-the-air updates via Wi-Fi, LTE-M or Ethernet.
EVBox Livo is built to perform in severe weather conditions—it features IP55 ingress protection and an IK10 impact rating, and is designed to operate at temperatures between -30° and 50° C. The housing is made with Makrolon RE, which EVBox says is “a more sustainable alternative to conventional plastics.”
The EVBox Everon app allows users to track, configure and control charging sessions remotely. Authentication is also possible using an RFID card or keyfob. The OCPP 2.0.1 standard is supported.
