Circontrol provides chargers for four Latin American highways

Barcelona-based charging station manufacturer Circontrol has provided charging stations for three new highways and one planned highway in Latin America.

The first was completed in Uruguay at the end of 2017. The 300 km road connects the coastal cities of Colonia and Punta Este. The highway features six Circontrol charging points, one every 60 km. The charging points feature Circontrol’s AC Posts, four of which charge at 22 kW and two at 43 kW.

The company provided chargers for a 412 km electric highway connecting Mexico City and San Luis Potosí, Mexico in May. The road’s five charging stations are each equipped with Circontrol’s AC WallBox and Raption 50 DC quick charger.

The company provided four charging stations for a157 km highway completed this year in Argentina, connecting Rosario and Santa Fe.

A planned highway connecting Asunción to Itapu in Paraguay will also feature Circontrol chargers.
