Swedish charging solution producer Charge Amps has introduce its new RAY charging cable, designed by noted industrial designer J. Nordwall. The RAY cable is available through Charge Amps resellers in Scandinavia, Germany and the Netherlands.

RAY is designed to be as small and light as possible – total weight is less than 2 kg, including the 7.5-meter cable and control box. It offers adjustable charging current from 6 to 16 amps, features a braided protective ground and a temperature sensor mounted  in the wall plug, and comes in a variety of colors.

“A self-test of the fault current is automatically made each time before power is turned on and charging starts,” says Charge Amps CEO Charlotte Eisner. “The cable is small and lightweight, and so is the price tag.”
