CarCharging resumes sales of the Blink HQ Level 2 residential charger

Miami Beach-based Car Charging Group (OTCQB: CCGI), which recently acquired the assets of bankrupt ECOtality, has resumed sales of the Blink HQ, a Level 2 residential EV charger.

The 240-Volt, 30-Amp Blink HQ features a delay timer, an 18-foot cable and a hanger bracket, and comes with a 12-month warranty. It’s compatible with all EVs sold in the US.

The Blink HQ is priced at $699, which includes a membership in the Blink Network of over 12,000 public charging stations, as well as a $100 bonus credit. Users can find public EV charging station locations using the maps at www.CarCharging.com and www.BlinkNetwork.com.

“Providing EV drivers with the opportunity to charge their EV at home and connecting them with our public charging stations is the first step in integrating EV charging services and ensuring that drivers have the ability to easily charge their EV wherever they are,” said Michael D. Farkas, CEO of CarCharging. “Based on the estimates provided by Navigant Research and at an average price of $500, the worldwide market for residential EV charging stations could be more than $729 million annually by 2020.”
