The concept vehicle smart forstars, which will be premiered at the upcoming Paris Motor Show, features a heavily stylized body, an all-electric drivetrain…and a video projector on the front hood.
Smart’s two-seater is tiny, but it’s no stripped-down monk-mobile – standard features include AC, power windows, heated seats and anti-lock brakes.
Members can locate an available car by using a smartphone app, or simply grab one on the street, and keep it as long as they need it, paying only for the time they use the vehicle.
The affordable two-seater will go on sale in 30 markets around the world in September 2012, instead of June as the company had planned.
