Zeem to provide Hertz with EV charging at LAX

US commercial EV service provider Zeem Solutions has announced a partnership with Hertz to provide charging services for Hertz’s EV rental fleet at Los Angeles International Airport (LAX).

Located less than a mile from the airport, Zeem’s depot offers on-site charging, parking, security, scheduled maintenance and cleaning for EV fleets of cars, vans, buses and trucks (Classes 1 through 8). When its infrastructure expansion is completed this year, says Zeem, the depot will provide 82 DC charging ports with 10 MW of grid power.

The company also has plans to collaborate with infrastructure investor ArcLight to develop charging depots at ArcLight power generation sites, including the ports of Long Beach and Newark.
