Toro unveils Electric High Lift Ultra Buggy e2500-THL

Toro, a maker of landscape equipment, construction equipment and material handling solutions, has announced the Electric High Lift Ultra Buggy e2500-THL.

The new high-lift system offers construction and demolition crews a carrying capacity of up to 1,250 lbs (567 kg), a just over 6 ft (1.8-meter) dump height and 12.8 cu ft (0.37 cubic meters) of capacity, while the proprietary Toro HyperCell lithium-ion battery supplies eight hours of fume-free continuous operation, enough to support two shifts without requiring a charge.

“Whether for interior demolition, construction or debris cleanup, this unit combines strength, efficiency and ease of use to redefine job site operations,” said Kaitlyn Ingli, Product Marketing Manager for Toro.

Driving and operating the Buggy e2500-THL is simple, Toro said, as the machine has a zero-degree turn radius and auto-return dump mechanism that ensures the tub automatically returns to the proper resting position. In addition, the narrow, 31.5-inch (0.8-meter) width allows indoor use, given the ease with which the operator can navigate the buggy through interior doors.

Other features of the e2500-THL include reinforced tracks, which can handle tough terrain and obstacles without slowing down, and the machine’s low ground pressure, which aids in preserving surfaces without compromising the buggy’s maneuverability.
