Propel Fuels to launch EV charging network in California

Fuel retailer Propel Fuels has announced plans to launch an EV charging network in California. Propel calls the charging network Propel Power, and plans to begin testing it by the end of 2019, with the aim of performing a broader rollout in 2020. Propel Power will complement Propel Fuels’ existing fueling stations, which Propel will continue to expand.

“We have been closely watching the EV market evolve for 15 years, and feel it has turned the corner towards the mainstream,” said Propel CEO Rob Elam. “Leveraging our expertise serving low-carbon consumers, we see the opportunity to help remove the barriers and anxiety, providing a valuable, customer-first charging experience to help EVs truly break through.”
