Kenworth delivers T680E electric truck to Knight-Swift Transportation

Truckload carrier Knight-Swift Transportation has received its first Kenworth T680E Class 8 electric truck along with a supporting PACCAR 120 kW EV charging station from Inland Kenworth in Phoenix, Arizona.

The Kenworth T680E is designed for pickup and delivery, regional haul and drayage applications. It has an 82,000-pound GVWR and an estimated operating range of 150 miles.

Kenworth’s Driving To Zero Emissions program also features the Class 7 K370E and Class 6 K270E trucks, both of which are intended for pickup and delivery in short regional haul operations.

Knight-Swift’s new e-truck will operate at the Knight Port Services terminal in Southern California.
