Daimler Buses and ESWE Verkehr open electric bus depot with 120 charging stations

Daimler Buses has delivered an electric bus fleet for the German transport company ESWE Verkehr in Wiesbaden and supplied a total of 120 battery-electric eCitaro buses since the start of the project in 2019.

Daimler Buses supervised all construction measures and oversaw the installation of a total of 120 charging stations. The company deployed charged management technology and oversaw the installation of an electrical substation for converting the current from medium to low voltage. The operator’s software system was also converted to operate an e-bus fleet.

“The transport company ESWE needed a complete solution, meaning both vehicles and charging facilities. We were able to support our customer and electrify the depot in Wiesbaden,” said Till Oberwörder, CEO of Daimler Buses.
