EVTV has announced Brandon Hollinger of Lancaster, PA the winner of the “Build Your Dream Car” EV components contest.  The prize was awarded on Spetember 24, 2011 at the Electric Vehicle Conversion Convention – EVCCON – in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.

Hollinger was one of ten finalist voted on by EVTV’s viewers over the past year.  Nearly 1,000 hopefuls sent in entries to the contest describing what they would build with the $20k worth of components.  The winning project, a 1971 Austin FX4, aka a London Taxi.

The conversion will be Hollinger’s forth.  He has already successfully switch two Mazda Miata’s and a gorgeous 1970 Saab 96 from gas to electric power.
