First Priority GreenFleet, a company that provides a range of services to fleet operators, has acquired the assets of Electric Vehicles International (EVI).
California-based EVI manufactures battery-electric light- and medium-duty trucks as well as a plug-in-hybrid utility service truck. It also sells powertrains and performs conversions.
First Priority GreenFleet’s corporate parent, First Priority Global, manufactures a variety of specialty vehicles, including firefighting, medical, rescue and public safety equipment.
“Under the GreenFleet banner, we intend to offer our customers a full range of zero and low-emission options that will allow them to select the products that best fit their needs,’ said Alex N. Cherepakhov, CEO of First Priority GreenFleet. “EVI’s 20 years of pioneering efforts have resulted in significant deliveries to world class customers, an achievement that will provide us with advanced technologies with over 4 million road miles.”
