Arteco launches ECO coolants for EVs

Liquid cooling solutions provider Arteco has introduced a new ECO coolant portfolio, including the Freecor EV product line of low electrical conductivity coolants (LECCs).

Arteco’s Freecor product lines are purpose-engineered for thermal performance and energy efficiency across diverse powertrain technologies.

Arteco’s ECO coolants incorporate base fluids, Monoethylene Glycol (MEG) or Monopropylene Glycol (MPG), derived from bio-based or recycled feedstocks, rather than from fossil resources.

This method enables the integration of sustainable raw materials into existing production systems while ensuring full traceability and third-party certification across the supply chain, according to the company.

To confirm the traceability and reliability of this process, Arteco has obtained the International Sustainability and Carbon Certification (ISCC) PLUS for its mass balance approach towards more sustainable resources.

“At Arteco, we firmly believe the future of cooling must be sustainable,” concludes Alexandre Moireau, General Manager at Arteco. “Our ACT – Accelerate Change Together – sustainability strategy focuses on three key areas: climate action, smart use of resources, and care for people and communities. This new family of ECO coolants is a natural extension of that commitment.”
