American Battery Solutions has introduced the Alliance E48-2.0, the first product in the Alliance Intelligent Battery Series of Li-ion batteries for motive and industrial applications. The US-made Alliance series integrates cells and automotive-grade electronics in an IP67 waterproof package.

The E48-2.0 is a 48 V, 2 kWh module that offers an energy solution for low-speed electric vehicles, utility vehicles, industrial machines and more.

Following the E48-2.0, the Alliance family of products will add an Industrial series of batteries based on the industry-standard GC2 form factor. This Industrial series will include 24 V, 48 V and 36 V options, all with 3 kWh of energy.
