comemso delivers 350 kW EV charging test system to certification lab in Thailand

Testing specialist comemso has delivered a 350 kW EV charging test system to a certification and testing laboratory in Thailand. The lab has been a comemso customer since 2018, and is now modernizing its existing environment with the latest generation of hardware and software.

The installation includes two comemso EV Charging Analyzers (EVCA), and enables parallel charging tests on two test specimens (EV or EVSE) or combined operation with up to 320 kW of power—fully automated and safely switchable.

Technical highlights and use cases include:

  • Comprehensive AC and DC (CCS) tests, including fault simulation according to IEC 61851-23
  • Two 160 kW battery emulators (Gustav Klein) for realistic EV simulation
  • EMC link integration for EMC chamber testing
  • Training on the comframe software for intuitive, automated test sequences

With the upgrade, the laboratory is now equipped for high-performance EV and charging infrastructure testing, from development to validation to end-of-line (EOL) testing. The modular architecture and flexibility of comframe are designed to make the system future-proof, scalable and suitable for EVSE testing requirements in laboratory and production environments.
