From extreme environmental protection to thermal load management and insulation, the need in in the automotive industry to protect, insulate, bond and increase performance for electronics, motors and batteries has never been greater. At ELANTAS PDG, we provide full-system solutions to serve as a problem-solving partner on current and/or future automotive electronic, motor or battery product applications. Our team of world-class chemists and innovative laboratory facilities is creating new formulations to aid specific OEM and Tier 1 applications by stretching the compound boundaries of polyurethanes, epoxies, acrylics, and silicones every day. For example, our patented Conashield™ Flood Coat Technology can provide potting performance with the convenience and delicacy of a conformal coating for applications such as exterior door handle sensors, lidar units and various control modules.

Our history dates back to 1919, and we have wide-ranging expertise in wire enamels, motor impregnation resins, potting, conformal coatings and adhesives. When it comes to meeting a specification requirement, addressing raw material shortage dilemmas and/or a discontinued product scenario, for example, ELANTAS can deliver a broad range of efficient chemical protection solutions to mitigate potential or real-time production delays.

This presentation will provide an overview of the products and services ELANTAS PDG has to offer, as well as the innovative chemical capabilities it can offer.
